A little big.
This chest protector was a little big on my daughter, (she is very thin) but overall very happy with it. The material is breathable and not too thick. The plate protecting the chest isn't too hard but hard enough to take the impact of a ball. She was happy with it. It fits easily under her uniform and not too bulky.

Perfect protection
Very comfortable, holds up great after washing. I haven't dried it yet. Lay flat to dry. Fits my 9 YO perfectly.

Fit perfect
This fit my son personally for my 7 year old during baseball. I would say it is true to size. They only thing I found was towards the end of the season he said it was getting tight even tho it was washed in cold and air dried. But other wise worked great.

Fell apart after one wash.
After one or two washings the chest padding came loose in the pocket and is now unwearable. Rather than a single pad I’ve the sternum, it uses a bunch of Diamond shape foam pieces. Now it’s a small lumpy bag of small foam pieces on the chest. It wearable.
