Would this be OK for an 8-year old beginner?

Yes very much so. My 7 year old loves her skateboard ..

I weigh more than the Boards max load. Will this effect me or won’t it make a difference?

What is the max load? I can't find it in the description

Do you have to assemble the item or is does it come already built?

There is no assembly required. Was a Xmas present which arrived well packed and could be immediately wrapped. It's also value for money.

What age group is this suitable for
