These are killer rods. They are my go-to for medium and ultralight.

This is bang for your buck. It's perfect for beginners and experienced anglers.It showed up well packaged. Not damaged at all. The rod itself is well balanced I got the 6.6 UL with the M action. It's perfect for trout, small mouth, blue gill and all pan fish. I paired it with an okuma Avenger 500a. Running 4lb test definitely perfect for all kinds of ponds and lake. Light weight slim package.

Durable ultralight rod, I paired it with a 1000 size reel and is pretty balanced, it loads up nice when casting. Caught a couple of blue gill and trout and performs very well. If only they made it in a faster action.

Let me start off by saying that I love the rod! It's super sensitive and feels great in the hand. I was less than pleased however with the shipping I was getting. They kept putting the rod in to short of a box so I got 2 delivered snapped clean in half! If you can find it locally I'd very much recommend buying it in person so you don't have to deal with broken rods like myself.

I have tried many ultralight rods recently, and this one has been the most sensitive, with excellent casting abilities. I’ve had two of these rods delivered from Amazon in perfect condition, no damage whatsoever. The finish of the rod is perfect and beautiful. Guides are perfectly aligned and well attached. The reason for not giving it 5 stars: the reel screw does not stay tight, because it is placed on the rod right where one of your fingers grips the handle. I decided to keep it with this design flaw because all other characteristics of the rod are fantastic.

I’m an Okuma fan and have an extensive collection of their fishing gear. From bait casting reels to spinning reels. Heard a lot of good things about the Celilo series of rods so bought one to use for trout fishing. The order arrived with a broken rod tip. The box was a little beat up so I chalked it up as shipper error. Amazon sent me a replacement rod that looked good out of the box. I paired it with a Pfluegar President reel and spooked it with 4lb fluorocarbon. It sat on the rod rack unused for a few months before I took it to the stream to trout fish. Within a handful of casts the rod snapped at the base of the reel set near the cork handle. I was shocked and dumbfounded. I’ve never had a rod break like that. Let alone a rod that was used to flip a 1/16 ounce inline spinner 20 feet across a small trout stream. Could it have been a defective rod from the factory? Or another rod damaged during shipping? Not sure if buying directly from Okuma would’ve helped but none the less back to the drawing board.

Great for ultra light fishing, I love how sensitive it is and you can still cast pretty far with it. I love it

I am absolutely in love with this rod!!! So much better than my old ultra light rod, and i've been absolutely slaying the panfish since I got this! I also caught the smallest bluegill ive ever seen in my life tonight because its a very sensitive rod. I had to order another and its currently on its way.

Didnt like the shipping they didnt put it where i requested, lots of porch pirates here . Got lucky it wasent gone.

Seems a good rod but looking for a perch and easily broken with a small bass 10 days after. Somewhat disappointed. I have captured some crapies, perches and small bass with it.

Literally just got this the other day I took it out and the first time I sent it into the water is snapped, do not waste your money!
