It managed the smaller crimp / circlip on a VW Polo, but couldn’t do the job on the external clip on an outer cv boot. Wouldn’t mind but it says professional quality - it certainly is not. If I had used it as soon as I got it would ask for a refund, but in mind there is a trade description / fit for purpose question that Bergen / Amazon need to consider here. ### ⭐ Extremely fragile tool, buy higher quality. *by S***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 May 2018* I've had a few Bergen tools before with no problems at all. Something has gone drastically wrong with these as they broke on the first clip with very little force applied. It didn't move the clamp at all on my Passat b5.5 CV outer before completely shearing at the pivot point. Bought them quite a while ago without using them, as last time I ended up using tile nippers to get the job done when these were still in the post as I needed the car. What a waste of money as I imagine I cannot return them now and means my car is up on jacks while waiting for another tool to arrive. Would not recommend at all, and do not deserve even 1 star.
