I use this microphone system to teach dance fitness in a gymnasium, while running music from two different speaker systems. I love it!

My son was needing a wireless lavalier microphone system and I am thoroughly impressed, the microphone is incredibly easy to use and set up, with the wireless 2.4GHz lapel mics and handheld mic working seamlessly together. This has been particularly useful for my son as a teacher, allowing him to walk around the classroom freely while still being clearly heard by all students. The audio quality is outstanding and he received several compliments from the students regarding the clarity of the voice. Needed this for teaching a classroom. It works. But the mic pick up is very hot & omni-directional, even with the lavalier. All I got was feedback - even standing 3-6 feet behind the PA speaker. It roared. It was even picking up voices of others talking several feet away from me. Turning down the volume on the mic only made the volume so low no one could hear me. We tried it with varying EQ and volume settings and the result was always the same - either a huge roar of feedback no matter how far away from the speaker I stood, or it was so low my voice was undetectable. Nothing in between. I opted to use a hand held hard wired uni-directional mic on the same PA speaker and voila! Perfect! I'll just have to stand in one place. It's possible the acoustics of the room had something to do with it, but I don't know. All I know is it wouldn't work in this environment. I think I might keep this wireless mic anyway to use with my camera on interview shoots, but I haven't tried that setting to see how well it performs under those circumstances. We'll see...
