Although this has been brilliant to do my husband found a few of the instructions were not as clear as most of the other Ugears models he has done.

Much more complicated than I expected and it took me ages to make but I enjoyed making it and the result at the end was impressive.

Perfect thickness, ideal

I loved making this model. It is complex in detail and not easy to build correctly. However if you follow the well illustrated instructions exactly then it is not really difficult. Just make sure you use plenty of wax on the gears and check as you go that you have got the construction right because it will be difficult to dismantle if you find yourself trying to correct a mistake! Pay particular attention to left and right hands...the manufacturer does provide plenty of spare parts acknowledging that trying to push toothpicks through holes in small pieces of plywood, inevitably leads to breakage. Mine took me about 16 hours of hard concentration over about 4 days to complete and I would have given it 5 stars, except despite everything working the operation of the tanker, the bit where you put the coke tin, does not close neatly. As far as I can see it’s a small design issue which could have been better made with an extra clip. Apart from that highly recommended and great fun.
