The cords look different than most tens with the plastic cover over the end with attaches to the unit. Are extra cords available?

No extra cords.... the buttons just snap onto the pads

Does it increase circulation in feet and legs?

I don't t know because I am going to return the equipment because one of the cables doesn't work
