Anytime I see a parent with the “backpack leash” on their child I cringe. That’s a human being not a dog! But I do understand the concept. This is a great alternative. Works perfect for our 2 and 3 year olds. Was worried the 2 year old’s hand might be too small and it would slip off, but nope it does get tight enough and could go even tighter if that’s your concern. Would recommend for any parents of little ones that like to wander, or if you know you’ll have your hands full and can’t bring a stroller. Very durable not worried about them breaking.

I have a hulk of a 6 year old and this was pretty good until the stitching came undone. Going to try getting it sewn back and see how that works out because it’s been really useful for my 11 day trip. Bought it like almost two weeks before and the stitching came undone yesterday on the 8th day lolYes I know it comes with two, which I’m grateful for but I’m not going to throw the orange away just yet.I saw other comments prior to buying it but I always assumed it was the “metal” parts that would snap. So I’m grateful this is something I can just run and go get stitched up

I ordered these to replace the ones we use at the beach they are perfect for holding on to our child while she’s in the water. When they came in they were exactly what we ordered and the quality was great. Used them in the water and no problems at all! Definitely worth the price and they are excelllent.

I was tossing up between key or magnet lock and I believe key is the better option. More safe.Sturdy build.
