Jane and the Monster (Monsters of Mount Moorhead)

Spicy and interesting concept. Stockholms-ish , like Beauty and the Beast only Beauty is missing a lot of common sense and isn't the brights crayon in the Crayola box. Alden is ridiculously kind and broody. The characters are all underdeveloped but there is room to grow here. The smut is a 4 out of 5. The language is a 3.5 out of 5 and I only picked up on a few genuine gramercy issues. It's a fast read and enjoyable.

So good, can't wait for the next book! Left off on such a cliffhanger?! Some of the logic the main character has is questionable tho lol🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶

Oh lord, I had such high expectations from the synopsis and the cover.I am into slow-burns, and monster romances. This was edging to the extreme.This would have been a great Kindlevilla or Galatea series, not as a standalone novel.I would have followed this for the story line alone, the writing isn't the best. With grammatical errors here and there, awkward flow and interactions.Is it the worst book ever read? NoShould you give this author a try? Yes, especially if you are looking to dip your toes into monster smutWould I read this again? No

Good, passionate and quick read. Definitely not for the faint of heart. I am definitely wondering about the cliff hanger ending though.

I found this book like many through quick synopsis on social media. It sounded like it would be wonderful. Despite the book is small the story spends far too much time on her ex. It isn't just flashbacks it makes up about half of the book and will just randomly pop in which is confusing until you realize what is happening. For a quick spicy story the FMC puts up far too much of a fight. Not that happy with the book. Spice was good though.

It is incomplete and you have to subscribe to get the full story. The price is way to expensive for an incomplete story. It is basically a teaser.It leaves you frustrated.
