Review: It's great! - I like the boom arm a lot, I'll give it 5 stars because I've had it for a week + and I haven't had any major problems, the setup can be like the tiniest amount of confusing, but trust me, once you get it? You'll feel dumb cause it's not as complicated as it seems. Now, some minor problems I do have with this boom arm is that even though you CAN put it behind your monitors, I'd suggest you don't do that if you have 24 inch + monitors. I only say this because it will limit how far forward you can pull your mic. (I don't think it'd really be much of a problem if you have like, a desk clamp monitor mount or something or just one singular monitor.) I was a little nervous about the sturdiness and if the boom arm would stay in place when adjusted (I don't know how to explain, but sometimes boom arms don't stiffen and like...when you put the arm up? it'll just slowly move down and fold?) But surprisingly? This arm despite how heavy it is itself and with my Hyperx quadcast S combined? it stays perfectly in place no matter how high you put it. Oh! I also thing hte full motion is really nice especially if you have a place to lay down right across from your setup? it's so nice knowing I can just turn my microphone around and pull it closer to where I lay...this thing is LONG so I'd say you won't have to worry about how far it can go and stuff like that. Honestly? for 70 dollars? this is CERTAINLY worth every dollar.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the parts as well as accessories that come with this kit. It comes with a height extender for the base so you can have the start of your arm higher up, which I'm sure is abundantly useful for certain circumstances, the oddly impressive thing is that the machining and tolerances of the extender piece fitting into the arm and into the base is satisfyingly accurate. That was the part of assembly that blew me away to where I actually wanted to write a review to tell other people, hey this thing is high quality 👌. It has plenty of mounting screws at the top of the arm for many different common sizes of microphone/ shock mount (vibration damper). The length of the two arms of this product is what drew me to it, and thankfully the weight of the microphone doesn't cause the arm to slowly fall down, because of the fact that it has adjustment screws beneath the middle section where the two parts of the boom arm meet, to tighten or loosen the joint; and, it still allows it to be moved freely and easily. Additionally, the cable hideaway along the top of the arm allows enough space for my XLR cable to fit securely and still have some space to flex and move with the mic without fear of somehow coming out.

**Q: Is the outer material of this stand steel or plastic?**
A: The arm itself and the internal spring mechanism are made from aluminum and steel respectively. The outer shielding and the cable cover sliders are made from a hard plastic material.

**Q: Does this fit a HyperX Duocast?**
A: The Sensic SA-30 is indeed compatible with the HyperX DuoCast, as long as you still have the shock mount that comes with the microphone.

**Q: can this hold a blue yeti blackout edition?**
A: On the product information page it says it's compatible with Blue Yeti. If  the Microphone has either a 1/4", 3/8" or 5/8" size Adapter at the bottom, it will screw into the swivel head of the boom at the end. The pictures of the microphone  look like it does have some kind of adapter.
