Cast iron bell
Quality, heavy duty bell. I threw away all the cheap accessories that came with our son’s outdoor playset and opted for some better quality accessories, like this cast iron bell. It really just elevates the playset and makes it look nicer. Makes a nice sound too.

Loud and nice!

Rope ring is a problem
Nice bell. A little smaller than I thought it would be but my only gripe would be what others had mentioned about the rope device used to ring the bell. Very cheap and broke off shortly after ringing the bell a few times. I replaced it with a key ring and it works fine now.

Perfect for my project
I was recreating an antique school bell I had seen in a museum. I was lucky to find this bell for my project. Very nice quality, with a strong and pretty ring. The rope handle is attached to the bell clapper with a thin ring that does pull off easy if it is yanked too hard. I personally didn't care since I added a pull chain to my my own design, so no problem. Great item at a great price!
