It’s like meditation with a pen—with the colors set down you begin to make lines, lines that calm you, lines that inspire you, lines that absorb you, until the world, and your thoughts, fall away and all that’s left is a perfect flow of attention and concentration. It hardly matters what you make. It’s the act of making that liberates you from distraction and busyness. Each of the first two Reverse Coloring books—with over 205,000 copies in print in just a year—frees the imagination and encourages the user to be calm and creative. But Mindful Journeys takes it one step further with 50 new and original watercolors created specifically to promote mindfulness. Abstract compositions in calming blues and greens. A shower of circles that suggests the infinity of the sky. Swirls of flowery patterns that evoke mandalas. Spiritual symbols, like a yin-yang, a hamsa hand, a flaming heart. Watery waves, and a curling peacock feather. The possibilities are endless. Trace, sketch, doodle, shade, cover with dots or make a world of images. And lose yourself in time and space. Images in the book are printed on sturdy paper that’s single-sided and perforated. All you need is your favorite pen. Review: Too basic book - Not worth the price Review: Awesome colouring book! - I love Kendra Nortons colouring books! I’ve been getting this series since she first started releasing them and this 3rd one does not disappoint! This book has a bit more structure than the other books which I really like if you’re feeling a bit of artists block.

Not to my liking
Like the colours, the rigid lines, but do not like that there are a lot of mandalas and the hand, also the yuan yang symbol and the temple.. 🙁

Color Outside the Lines (Literally!): A Review
This Reverse Coloring Book offers a unique and refreshing twist on the traditional coloring book experience. Instead of coloring within the lines, you create your own artwork by drawing lines and shapes within pre-colored areas. The book features a variety of beautiful, abstract designs in calming colors that invite creativity and exploration. Each page is a blank canvas for your imagination to flourish. Whether you're an experienced artist or just starting out, this book provides a relaxing and enjoyable way to unwind and express yourself. I found the concept of reverse coloring to be incredibly liberating. There are no rules or expectations, allowing you to experiment freely and create something truly unique. It's a wonderful tool for stress relief and a great way to cultivate mindfulness. I even gifted this book to my artistic 13-year-old niece, and she absolutely loved it! She was thrilled with the gift and started drawing immediately. If you're looking for a creative and relaxing activity for yourself or as a gift for someone special, I highly recommend "The Reverse Coloring Book™: Mindful Journeys." It's a truly unique and rewarding experience.
