Does this need soaking if your using a rice cooker

Royal Umbrella Glutinous Rice does not need to soaked prior to cooking in a rice cooker. The following cooking instructions are recommended: 1. Place the desired amount of rice into a basin and rinse once and drain. 2. Place the rice into a rice cooker and add water. Ratio of rice to water is 1:1 or adjust to suit personal preference. 3. Cook the rice following the rice cooker instructions. Do not open the lid to stir the rice while cooking. 4. When the rice is cooked, leave for 15 minutes, then fluff with a fork and serve hot.

Ours comes in the original packaging and will have between 12 & 18 months life on it.

Can i use this to make rice wine

We’ve never tried to use this particular rice to make rice wine, but it is used for brewing beer.

I got the wrong product which is Thai jasmin rice. Then I replaced order but again got the same wrong product. My issue got resolved but without having to get the Sticky rice.
