RAK Tonique Soft Close Toilet Seat

Review: excellent replacement rak toilet seat - worked really well but at first i did think it wouldnt fit. however after watching a youtube video on how to remove the old one and put this one on, it was all very easy.
Review: It fits as well - Not to impressed with the fixings on this particular product The screw heads are badly formed and will not tighten the brackets to stop seat sliding all over the pan (It is a RAK pan) I now have to acquire new better fixings to make this work

**Q: Does this product have a guarantee?  A crack has appeared on the lid where the hinge is for no apparent reason.**
A: I have had 5 of these (all replaced by RAK)....and EVERY one has cracked from one or both hinges for no apparent reason.  Have changed mounts EVERY time too....so 100% there is a design fault with these. Sick of it now.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheapest replacement RAK seat but still expensive for a toilet seat

I'm knocking off a point as you can buy the entire RAK toilet with seat for £160 and yet the seat is £43 sold separately. However, that isn't this seller's issue; if you go to RAK you'll pay maybe £60 for the seat! RAK don't respond to emails and my seat (only 2 years old) no longer soft closes which is not the end of the world but a pain. This seat is a direct replacement for the Tonique soft close seat and it really does soft close. Only had it a week so I can't say how long it will last.
