I really did not think it would work well,, but I spend a lot of time peeling potatoes and thought I would try it, anyway.Read the directions. Follow the directions exactly. It works like a charm and peels potatoes very quickly!Wish it had been made with steel parts and not plastic. Oh, well ... it is working fine now and I will just have to wait to see how long before a piece of plastic breaks!

This is a game changer when it comes to potato peeling! I absolutely hate peeling potatoes. This gets the job done in half the time and no mess! If you don't own one of these, get one now! Best purchase for your kitchen. I will never peeling a potato by hand ever again! Clean up is easy too!

I have arthritis in all my joints. It’s so much so that it takes me nearly 3 hrs to peel 3 lbs of potatoes because I have to keep stopping because my hands hurt so bad.After figuring out how to use (I could’ve just read the directions. But that takes time), I really like how fast and easy this was to use.I gave it a “4” star rating because it doesn’t peel all the way at the top and bottom of the potato. But it does a good enough job that I can now make potato salad and such again.

In my quest to find the perfect homemade French fry recipe, I peel a lot of potatoes. Initially I thought the Rotato seemed a bit gimmicky, but I decided to try it anyway. No regrets. I've only used it to peel russet potatoes, but I have to say that It works very well. In fact, it works so well that I will likely buy more as gifts to other people.

I love this potato peeler...this is my second one, only because I did not know you could order replaceable tips. It makes peeling potatoes so much faster and no waste. I liked it so much I bought one for each of my daughters!!!

This is my 3rd peeler from this company and the same brand.1st peeler was so wonderful, but I wore it out2nd peeler cut so deep, it left deep groves in the potatoes to the point, you had to peel extra to make up for the lost potato3rd and their NEW model, is a total mess, the cutter works fine, but the arm that adjusts the height of the potato, it doesn't raise and lower smoothly, it catches on the groves on the post. As you're raising the arm to get to the top of the potato, before you can even stick the prong into the potato, it start twirling the potato, which half the time it throws the potato off the machine.Why do they have to fix what isn't broken, I guess if they come out with a new machine, you'll want the newest and will buy it.They said that the holder on the bottom, that holds the potato is now removable, big deal, the old one was so easy to clean, it didn't need to be removed, because it was attached to the base and there is no opening to clean.What a mess they have made of a wonderful product.BTW, there is no way to adjust the arm with the blade, that's why the machine that cut so deep, couldn't be adjusted.

Excellent product! I had my doubts when I ordered this, wondering whether or not it would work as advertised, especially considering the very reasonable price. I've used it numerous times with both apples and potatoes and it is amazing. I've told family and friends about it (my kids all tease me about my excitement over my peeler!) It's very simple to use. It has reduced my prep time significantly with foods such as mashed potatoes and apple pies. I have both fibromyalgia and arthritis, so many times I've been unable to make those types of foods because of having to hand peel. This product has saved so much "wear and tear" on my body. I highly recommend to anyone else with chronic pain issues. I want to note that before I bought this peeler I read many reviews, most were very favorable, but some complained that the peeler leaves some of the peel at the top and bottom. This is true, but is not a problem at all! I very easily remove with my paring knife in seconds. This is an excellent product all around and I'm thrilled that I decided to purchase it.
