It’s a great, simple way to help communicate with your dog so that they can clearly understand what you want! With so many levels it’s easy to go from a calm- hey don’t do that to a stern NO. Basically the difference of a tap on the shoulder compared to a punch on the shoulder lol. It has correction levels from 0-100 - the highest I have had to go is up to a 6 - which I can barely feel on my neck. I am not going to put anything on my dog that I have not used on myself first - them I know what it feels like. The 6 is barely detectable - just feels like a very LIGHT static shock. She is a belgian malinois so she is intelligent, but his collar is really amazing. She knows that she gets more freedom when she puts it on. I tease her and try to put it on the other dogs and she puts her head out and pushes the other dogs so she can put it on. We have been conditioning our 6 month old shepherd with it and the stimulation appears to be very consistent (she has been responding to level 4 in all of our training sessions so far). We did have to purchase some heavy duty hair ties and rivets to make some adjustments to it so that it can be snug on her neck but not too tight.
