Great espresso machine
Great machine, water heating is great and quick with proper pressure for extracting coffee from the capsule. I use it regularly when traveling in the car and on my fishing trip on the boat. Highly recommended

Great Portable Espresso Maker
I had a nanopresso before and it was hard work and leaked. I used this in our holiday and it was fantastic. I boiled the water first in a kettle then extracted to coffee using the machine. The battery lasts a long time if you heat the water 1st. I have been very impressed so far.

A beautifully made machine with poor espresso with the included - too small- 5g basket
The OutIn Nano is a beautifully engineered portable espresso maker. The finishing, build quality, cup threading, and overall design give a premium feel. Using preheated hot water helps a lot — the battery lasts much longer this way. I still need to test the self-heating feature, but so far performance is solid on external hot water. That said, the included 5 g basket is a serious limitation. Shots taste watery, the puck ends up soupy, and the overall espresso is weak. Even with the OutIn grinder, results weren’t great. Things only improved noticeably when I switched to my Niche Zero at a finer grind setting, which gave a fuller-bodied and tastier shot. This shows the Nano can deliver, but the 5 g basket is holding it back. Of course, expecting a tiny 5 g travel basket to match the results of a dedicated 18 g home setup is asking too much. Within its category, it’s still a clever design. I’ve ordered the 18 g basket (sold separately for $30) and will also be testing Nespresso capsules. Honestly, the larger basket should have been included from the start — especially when competitors like the Wacaco Picopresso provide an 18 g basket by default. Pros • Excellent build quality and finishing • Thoughtful details (threaded basket & cup) • Portable and well-designed • Battery lasts longer with preheated water • Works better with a high-quality grinder Cons • 5 g basket produces watery, weak shots • Larger 18 g basket costs extra • Needs a good grinder for best results • Self-heating feature still to be tested Bottom line: A beautifully built portable espresso maker with potential. It’s unfair to expect it to match a full café setup, but even within its category the 5 g basket feels too restrictive. With the larger basket and a good grinder, it could be excellent. Will update after use with pods and the larger basket… they really should have included it Update: With the 18 gram basket, which really should be the default method, this makes amazing espresso. With the Nespresso pod attachment and the 5 gram basket, both included, the coffee is subpar The OutIn Fino grinder at 1 and 2 ( finest setting) grinds fine enough with fresh beans to get you a really good espresso, will review the grinder separately

Nano Portable for Nano Satisfaction of your Coffee Thirst.
Nice Machine, bit bulky but does the Job. Though coffee output is not enough as the cup is small. Landed using the Coffee Pods, as they are strong well packed and easy to use. Good for travelling in the car/ Train or Plane. if you have the space.

Great coffee anywhere. Great machine.
This machine is better than I’ve anticipated. It gives perfect espresso’s anywhere from car to outdoors. Heavy solid quality feel, easy to use. I absolutely love it. If there would be a minus: it has ‘only’ capacity for 3 maybe 4 cups when heating. It’s not really a minus but a logical consequence for being so small and portable. But when you are able to fill it with hot water it has plenty more capacity. A cool, handy and pretty machine I didn’t know I needed so badly. Now I’m hooked.

Proper espresso anywhere, better than i hoped
This has been one of those crazy purchases that has genuinely improved my life, an expensive outlay but no regrets. It means I have excellent coffee at work and I can take it on day trips, camping, beach trips and hikes. Making espresso on a secluded beach has been a delight. I've suffered no end of jealous and inquisitive colleagues. In terms of functionality it is very versatile. The battery capacity can manage five espressos, using room temperature water and i don't even know how many using preboiled water. It comes with two adapters, one for nespresso pods and one for grounds. I use the pods one all the time. I use it about ten to twelve times a week and I've had it a couple of months, I'm very happy with how it performs. If it uses preboiled water it takes less than a minute to produce an espresso. If using cold water it can vary depending on the water temperature but around five minutes. Thise little gadget produces espresso that rivals proper full sized machines. Espresso is pumped creating thick crema. I find it easy to keep clean. Once used it isn't going to leak out remnants so can be stored and cleaned when back home. All the parts requiring cleaning separate and can be rinsed well. The water reservoir can be dried out easily. The only way I could suggest improving this would be to sell an upgraded cup, a nice titanium espresso beaker would be very cool. One thing I really did appreciate from the manufacturers is good instructions and the inclusion of not one but three logo stickers. I wish more brands did that.
