Helps a lot and arrived very fast

I am using this book as a refresher, because I am getting back into working on dev projects in my spare time. I have coded in the past but that has been mostly high-level programming. I have always wanted to understand and code more at a low or intermediate level (C or C++). This book as been amazing so far. It is 7 books in one, the first book being about 100 pages. I have read through the first book and it kept my attention and was very useful. Just the knowledge I have gained and the refresher on known topics in the first book is well worth the money for the book. I am excited to finish this book, just 6 more books to go!

Great introduction overall. But as the first edition is really old and has had many updates and revisions since, it still feels partly out-of-date, I would have wishes for some inputs on more recent programming trends.
