Wanted a teapot in which I could brew at least 10 cups of tea. It is very light weight, easy to use as ithas a handle on the top. I didn't realise you could use it on the stove top. A bonus.

Ok but not great

I loved the fact that this tea pot is made in Britain, and was a good price, however, it has no filter inside for loose tea leaves, so sadly returned it. If the makers read these reviews, I would recommend they look to put a filter inside.

Good size and easy to use

Used to make tea for upto 20 people and the resulting tea was very nice. The handle near the spout made pouring easy. Might be liable to dent if used in a "workplace" environment. One problem was encountered following the pre-use cleaning in hot soapy water was that when I came to dry the teapot I noticed a large black mark on the tea towel and on closed inspection I saw that the underside of the rim where the lid sits was coated in a black oily deposit which had not been removed by the initial washing - it was easily removed during the follow-up targeted wash.

Very happy

Bit disappointed the lid screw has started rusting, can't see it lasting more that a year but at the price point one can't complain and it's in daily use on the fire 12hrs everyday 👍
