Face value: how does instant stack up? Good!
So at first I was scared to commit to four boxes of instant coconut water powder, but I'm happy to report it's pretty great! Let's look at Nature's Guru mix for what it is: a very, very portable and easy two step for coconut water. Coconut water is expensive (typically 2.50 to 3.99 here for 11 or 16oz) and sporadic in convenience stores around Massachusetts and RI where I live. You can't just hit any store and be guaranteed they have it. There's also no telling what brand they'll carry and if it's even good to drink. Yes, a store had containers of expired ONE for sale. Now the flip side: I can take any common bottle of water and transform it into restorative, hydrating coconut water. The end result is just as nutritious as the fresh with the ingredient list as follows: cane sugar, minerals, spray dried coconut water powder. Not sure how they do it but each packet has 50 calories, 20mg sodium, 620mg potassium and 11g of sugar. The taste is more muted than some powerful green coconut waters out there but I actually like it. I'm transformed -- I'll continue to buy fresh water occasionally but I'm not spending all that money anymore. This is way more economical, convenient and delicious! That's the scoop go try some!

It's Pleasant Enough
I didn't expect it to taste like real water from the coconut, or even the bottled/boxed versions of coconut water. But it's all natural, it has no artificial sweetener or hfcs (although, what the heck is "spray-dried"???)It doesn't dissolve really well in very cold water but it doesn't clump or anything. It says to put the packet into 8-10oz of water but I use one packet in a 16oz bottle and that's plenty sweet for me.It's exactly what I was expecting after reading the reviews. I bought 3 orders of 4 boxes (120 packets total) and I may buy more when I'm finished. I don't do sodas or flavored sugary drinks so this is just the right amount of sweet when I'm looking for a little more than water to drink. The fact that it has potassium doesn't hurt, either.ADDITIONAL COMMENT 2/23/2015I have ordered this occasionally since I first wrote this review. I now have it in my rotation for Subscribe and Save. The formula has changed over the years so I wanted to add this comment that now, it's more like flakes than gritty sand. It dissolves much faster now than it did before. I don't notice a change in the taste for better or worse.

I really wanted to like this!
This stuff tastes like alka seltzer, it does not resemble coconut water in the least. Please note that this product is NOT RETURNABLE (even with Prime). The ingredients are Cane sugar, minerals, and "spray dried coconut water powder" ? I was very disappointed and there is no way I will be able to choke any of this down. I'm still on the search for a quick electrolyte powder replacement with no artificial ingredients.

Best for the Price
I have tried several coconut waters, but this is the best I have found. It has the taste I was looking for. (I don't like plain water) and this has the sweetness I was looking for. Also, for the price, it is a good deal. You get 40 packets for $17.96 with no shipping (it is an amazon prime item) Infact, it is so much better for me than rootbeer which I have been drinking. Now I am considering buying using a subscription so I get the discount and still have it come in monthly.

Too much sugar for too much money.
Just a month ago this was $15 on S&S and I go this every month. Now it's $23 with S&H! 50% increase...I'll get it somewhere else. There's way too much sugar in here anyway. Plus, the packets are hard to open (and change shape-which only matters if you put into into other containers for ease of use). We only bought this one because we drink it daily and it was the cheapest out of the coconut waters that had a decent taste.

Excellent for bunny & people care
Nature's Guru coconut water powder has been great for our health and for our bunnies.I've relied on coconut water to help me gain and maintain my weight, and it's helped my husband lose weight, too - it's great for hydration, which is great for both things. We like the taste - it really does remind us of fresh coconut water. We've enjoyed it a lot more than tetrapack coconut water (it's hard to avoid that tetrapack taste). The powder and sachets are also super-convenient for storage. For our six rabbits, Nature's Guru has been essential for their daily health. We have two older bunnies (9 and 10) who regularly trick the vet into thinking they're far younger. It's also been critical for post-op care, ferrying three bunnies through four different surgeries in the past few years. Our bunnies are excellent food testers, so it's a big deal that they love this stuff. They prefer it over apple juice and plain water, and it keeps them drinking and hydrated.Nature's Guru has been great for all of us. :) We use it around the house, and keep some sachets in our bags and in the car for days out and about.

Not bad
Not bad, not great either but not bad. This has a better taste than some of the regular non dehydrated coconuts waters. Have been trying to find a cheaper coconut water. I'm not crazy about the taste of coconut water in general but I need extra potassium and this is a quick way to get it. I like that I can mix the package with a larger bottle for even a milder taste. I mix with 24 oz bottle of water. I does take a few minutes to fully dissolve. I usually mix with a room temperature bottle of water then put in the fridge for a while. So maybe that's why I haven't had much trouble dissolving it as others mentioned. Glad to find a cheaper coconut water that tastes descent. Will be buying again!
