Great option for the tractive when the plastic nubby breaks off the device so you don’t have to get a new tracker. Way more secure than the default option. You do have to take the tracker out of the holder to charge it though.

Our dogs have lost 2 trackers & chewed up another because of the flimsy rubber clips either breaking or slipping off. These are what Tractive should be offering with their trackers. It not only protects the tracker itself, but it slides onto the collar, so unless they lose the whole collar, it isn't coming off. We do have to take the whole collar off to charge the tracker, but I'll do that for the relief of knowing our dogs won't be losing them again in a field, creek, or in the woods. The case fit perfectly over the tracker like a glove. Very thankful I found them.

We lost our first Tractive in less than a week as our dogs are active foragers. I tried several ways to keep the Tractive on the collar, and so far, these are by far the best. Unfortunately, the newer charger fits around both ends of the Tractive so I have to take the cover off to charge it. It's usually full of mud anyway, but it is a bit fiddly to get these covers on and off. They also hold up to dog wrestling, where one dog uses the Tractive as a handle to pull on the other. These are the best way to keep the Tractive attached. I took off a star as I have to remove the cover in order to charge the device, though not their fault that the charger design has changed.

I like that it is a secure method to hold the tracker on a collar. I've lost two trackers because the original attach from Tractive comes loose. And because it's not very accurate GPS, finding the detached tracker only worked one of the three times they came off. Our dogs are running through weeds and forest and it's not strong enough. This is solid. Tractive has come out with an improved method for connecting a charger and my only dislike with the holder is that improved connection can't work with the holder.

I bought this to protect our tracker. It is well made. The tracker fits perfectly in it. Our problem is that our dog collar has plastic clasps. This device is made to thread a collar that is made like a belt. It looks the tracker has to be removed from the holder to charge it. We have to do this often. Would be a pain.

These are great if you have the old style magnetic charger that fits without removing the tracker. I have the old style magnetic charger and the new style cradle, and it’s not very convenient trying to remove the tracker that has tabs on it from the silicone protector to insert it into the cradle every few days. But because it completely covers the tracker, I decided to remove the tabs from my trackers to make removing it for charging and reinserting it easier although I do have to stretch it, which is probably why it tore but that’s my fault not theirs.

I have two very active rescues that go hiking and swimming almost daily. They also wrestle frequently and I can't tell you how many times I've had to search for the GPS that got detached from the holder. I purchased this holder when the holder that comes with the Tractive couldn't hold up to all the abuse. So far, so good. It's been a month and not a single issue. I also like that you don't have to remove the GPS from the holder to charge it.

These were too big and bulky for my cat's collar, they're very good and protective but they flip the tracker over and increase the overall weights. The collar belt is way too small for the holder

Oltre al fatto che protegge il tractive da urti graffi ecc, permette finalmente di togliere il sistema di aggancio originale del tractive oggettivamente un po fragile e di sostituirlo con quello integrato nella custodia in questione. Le bande in silicone che avvolgono il collare davvero spesse e robuste, non dovrete mai più avere paura di perderlo.

Tractive’s own dog variant has clips that fall off. The “cat” variant is better, but deliberately weak, so cats cannot hang themselves (the strap just breaks). These are the definitive answer both problems. And you can charge the tracker without removing the unit from the collar. The grey and black are very close in colour, but either is far better than the ghastly blue that is Tractive’s default colour. We have a Vizsla. Blue collar? Not really. I have petitioned Tractive to make a black tracker, but they refuse. The Customer is always — a nuisance. Anyhoo, these are great and very robust. Cannot fathom how we found them — very glad we did. Shipped to the former United Kingdom in under a week. Excellent.
