I used these for Skiing this year (2026) and really have NO complaints. They have held together through use and washes. I followed the care instructions (maybe the first time I have ever done that!) and have not had any issues. The fit is good and the hook and loop hold pretty tight. Along with a base compression layer I was warm and comfortable in 16 degree weather and stayed dry. The material is fashionable, durable and flexible.

Surely worth the money and overall value is great (I paid $30). However, the fit is not perfect enough to warrant 5 stars. Pros: Insulated and very warm. Can easily where in the snow with no layer or just a thin layer (long johns or under armour). Reinforced ankles where boots kick. Price (I wasn't expecting much at this price, but these will serve me well for this winter's snow activities). Cons: Fit is not great. Crotch is very shallow, so you can't get waist much above hips if you wanted to. Reading reviews, I was concerned a medium would be too small, so I ordered a large. I am 5'9", 190lbs, and where 34"x30" Jeans. The large was too big. Way too much room in the waist and way too long. I could where over top of my jeans and they were still big and you don't need to where bulky layers with these because they are already insulated and very warm. The adjustable waist straps are useless as the elastic bands are not very strong and do not really cinch the waist at all and the amount of adjustment is very small before you run out of velcro room. If you are thinking of buying a size up because these straps will help you to adjust to fit, don't waste your time. They are truly useless. You will need a belt or suspenders to keep them up. But great Amazon service as usual allowed me to quickly return them and purchase a medium. The medium fit fine with plenty of room in the waist and just enough room in the thighs to handle full squats and maneuverability. Bottom line, if you are paying less than $40, you are getting a decent pair of snow pants that are plenty warm. Follow the sizing chart and don't go to a large unless you are over 200 lbs and have a 38-42" waist.

These are my first pair of snow/ski pants and they’re honestly amazing for the price point. I’ve been looking everywhere for a decent pair that wouldn’t hurt my wallet. Physical stores like Kohls was charging over $100 for a pair. I paid $30 for these and I can’t complain at all. These are very durable and high quality. I wore these to go tubing, and to shovel during these few blizzards we had. I will say that these run a bit tight in the waist. I ordered a size up. Just keep that in mind. Also there’s a separate part inside that cuffs and wraps around your leg, so you don’t have to wear anything underneath. That was a big plus for me. I’d get another pair just for the heck of it.

I have bought multiple pairs of the Arctix brand of ski pants directly from Amazon in different colors and sizes for approximately $30 each. I am not an expert skier. All I want is pants that keep me warm, dry, and most importantly have an inseam that fits me properly since the boot zipper prevents alterations. Arctix is the only brand that has a 28 inch inseam for Men and 27 inch inseam for women. The Arctix ski pants check all boxes without breaking the bank. From the Arctix website: Medium waist range: 32 to 34 inches. Large waist range: 36 to 38 inches. The waist sizes are ADJUSTABLE with a VELCRO band on each side. The pants also have belt loops so you can WEAR A BELT to tighten the pants. The waist range is slightly large because they factor in you might be wearing thermals underneath and if you are skiing or snowboarding, the gyrating motion requires the pants to be looser. These are nylon pants not spandex so there is no "stretch". If the pants are too tight, they will rip at the crotch when gyrating. I can fit a medium comfortably with shorts but I also purchased the ski pants in large in case I wanted to wear jeans or sweatpants underneath. I do wear the medium sizes more. I have worn the pants when temperatures and windchill makes the "real feel" in the single digits. The pants were extremely warm. You might even sweat in them. Lol. At $30, I can buy multiple pairs. I have them in black, yellow, navy blue, and grey. The cheapest prices will be during the off-season when no one is skiing. 😀 Fyi - The yellow color is flat; more mustard. It is not as bright or vivid as shown online. If you are a NFL Pittsburgh Steelers fan, the pants will still be fine to wear in a cold frigid football stadium. The other color pants; black, navy blue and grey look as they do online. 🤔😀 UPDATE: I wore these in NYC during the 2026 Arctic Blast where windchills were as low as -20 degrees F°. For very short time periods (30 minutes max), my legs were fine with just shorts underneath these ski pants (and multi-layers puffer jacket and vest, vaseline on my face and hands, goggles, etc). Stay inside, avoid frostbite. Your tolerance to cold may vary. 😵‍💫😀

Fit was accurate, keeps you warm and dry in the snow. Very comfortable. Has lasted a few seasons already.

These pants worked well for skiing. They were waterproof, the bottom of the legs fit over the ski boots, and they kept me warm with only a couple layers underneath. With that said one of the two hook closures at the waist pulled out about 4 hours into the trip. The Velcro held them closed for the rest of the day, but it's not ideal. Additionally, the pocket zippers have a flap to cover the zipper that faces forward, so any time you fall, which for me was fairly frequent, the flaps caught snow. I noticed there was moisture inside both pockets after using them. Not a lot, but the pockets definitely are not waterproof.

Pants are a perfect fit, I’m very picky when it comes to certain types of pants and this are just right, waist, length, feel, I love the lower legs zippers on each side also. No back pockets but I don’t use back pockets any ways, side pockets are great also. Si in a nutshell I give is 5 stars. Love the color also. I measure 5’/10” and weigh around 200. I recommend this snow/winter pants.
