Good Quality
Story is good and this was for gift purpose. Print is good but quality as per paperback is not that good. I have bought paperback books so had little more expectations.... But overall, it is good.

Pirated version
The media could not be loaded. I am not returning this book as I have waited so long to read it in paperback but this looks like a pirated copy. It has distorted image and font. Dirty pages, overwritten words etc.Not a good feeling for this one. Please avoid sending these kinds of book which we can get from roadside.

this is about the quality of the book. font sizes are small, some pages are faded, it's hard to read the darker pages. a few texts are blurred.

This is book is not for everyone. This doesn't have your usual sweet, fluffy and rom com. It has very dark themes, including dubc!n. So, reading TW would be highly recommended before getting into it. However, I would like to clarify that there is a difference between unsuspecting and deliberately marketed content. When I say this, I meant that I was aware of what was I getting into with a book like this where there are very clear trigger warnings. I made an educated decision to read something I knew had the potential to make me uncomfortable. The smut is very well written, one of the best I have ever read till now. This has suspense and psychological thriller to it. And, it was so unexpectedly good, unique, unputdownable, addictive, exactly how a $t@lk£₹ romance should play out, I was on the edge of my seat loving this thrilling ride never wanting it to end. But, what I really loved about this story is that it is a mystery, wrapped up in a (dark) romance, wrapped up in another mystery. You can’t help but be drawn in by the questions surrounding Addie’s grandmother’s murder, and love life. The romance between Addie and Z is/would be perfect to read, for anyone who enjoys dark romance/dubc0n/n0n-c0n. I do like that Carlton avoided the trope of giving him a tragic backstory that led him down this particular path. I do like how Z was portrayed as someone irredeemable, and unrepentant. I felt that Z was something of a Vigilante’s caricature, which, strangely, and rather very well worked in this context. There was something about the cognitive dissonance that this character created that made it all manageable. I so enjoyed the Gothic vibe. All the spooky imagery. It was all very atmospheric and creepy. The dark tone was consistent throughout the entire read. I appreciated Carlton’s ability of story telling. I think she did a fantastic job with this book. As a reader who has always been into dark romance, this was perfect for me. This book ends at a cliff hanger too.Give it a try, if you’re into dark romance or some of the dark themes, that are mentioned in the beginning of the book.

Not the correct one
The media could not be loaded. I wanted Part 2 of this book series and I revieved Part 1 with the cover and title of Part 2.The cover says 'Hunting Adeline' but the inner contexts and contents are of 'Haunting Adeline'
