How do we program the programmable buttons on the app and remote? What are the trigger words on Alexa do get the mount to go up and down?

You long press the mem1 or mem2 button for about 3 seconds on the remote until you hear a beep. Please refer to our manual that you can download on our website. The mount was not designed to work with Alexa.

Could you add a sound bar above the TV on the lift?

Possibly, depending on the TV size, dimensions, VESA pattern, VESA pattern placement measurement, soundbar dimensions, soundbar bracket etc. No easy answer.

What is the size of the included 'top lid'? And, is there a media cabinet availalbe?

The "Top lid" I'm making as part of the cabinet I'm building, is 44" wide by 12" deep. I don't know if there is a media cabinet available as I'm taking the challenge of building a custom one for the lift and the TV, I want to install. You might check Amazon, as they show a few cabinets. Good luck.
