iLIVING 20" Wall Mounted Shutter Exhaust Fan, Automatic Shutter, with Thermostat and Variable Speed controller, 2.2A, 3368 CFM, 5000 SQF Coverage Area Silver (ILG8SF20V-ST)

I purchased this Iliving 20" Shutter Fan on a Friday evening after a very hot day in my greenhouse, I could not control the heat rise here in Alaska temperatures exceeded 90 deg F in my 12x24 greenhouse. The fan shouwed up on Sunday morning USPS I could not believe that I ordered it Friday night and it arrived Sunday morning. I installed it Sunday afternoon which was very simple if you have any mechanical skills. I wired it into my greenhouse thermostat that controls my heater and my fans. Holy Crap it knows how to move air! I is very quiet for such a large fan, all componets were built very well, shutters worked flawlessly other than I mounted it too tighed in the rough opening and this caused the bottom seal to rub on the flashing I installed, I lowered the flashing and it worked great!. I would recommend this fan to any greenhouse owner that is having rising heat issues. Hopefully it hold up over time but the price $169 was hard to beat for a 20" shutter fan. Works great and worth the price. Easy to install

Works good so far. Its nice for the price and moves air very well. The shutters make a little noise when the fan is moving fast. At low setting it's pretty quiet.

Moves a lot of air and helps keep the building cool.

This is the second fan we have bought from this company. Noice level is mediocre, not too loud. I was able to easily plug it in, set the temperature and leave it. Since the first one worked so well im onto buying my second for a business expansion. Looking forward to seeing how it does.

Installed in pole barn to pull out some heat. Has worked great. On the thermostat and pulls heat out.

Good value and great air flow. A bit noisy but I use it in my dance studio so the sound drowns it out. The fact that we get more air circulation is more important.

Build quality is on par. Worked as expected. Small thing to mention, I planned to place the controller in the garage and run an extension cord between then controller and fan so I could control the fan from garage instead of it just being temp controlled For whatever reason it will not work with an extension cord between controller and fan. However you can use an extension cord between the wall and controller.

Great fan. Been using for 6 months now with no problems

Fans great. The temp controller works opposite of what I need for greenhouse. (As temp increased it shuts off and starts when temp decreases) basically if you set it at 70 f it’ll shut off as soon as it’s higher than that. Doesn’t help with cooling the greenhouse as I would’ve preferred. I’ll install and order another controller to help regulate the temp.

Not as noisy as expected. Quite heavy. Needs sturdy support to avoid vibrations. Motor well matched to the fan. Does not heat up during warmest days and continuous work.
