I've struggled with other Bluetooth dongles.Some wouldn't play music without frequent breaks in the audio - making them unusable for use with bluetooth headphones.Another, really troublesome dongle (that I'm stuck with) didn't recognize my mice - sometimes it did, sometimes without warning, it stopped. The awful adapters were just unusable.NOW - THIS ONE is working fine. I already had the latest Bluetooth driver, so this adapter was easy plug and play. All I had to do to get this to work was screw the antenna onto the dongle (it probably works without the antenna) and plug it into a USB port.My two Bluetooth mice work fine - they stay connected and are ready to use when I pick them up or click on the mouse (my Microsoft Bluetooth mouse goes into sleep mode after a period of non-use, but a simple click brings it to life.).Earbuds and Bluetooth headsets are supported and audio is good.Don't waste your time or money on other Bluetooth dongles -- THIS dongle actually works.

A pesar de que me preocupó que trajera un disco de instalación de drivers (ya que mi pc no tiene), fue una agradable sorpresa ver que no lo necesité pues automáticamente lo reconoció y pude conectar mis auriculares de bluetooth. Funciona genial para windows 11, super feliz.

product does not work for more than 5 feet away

At first I was disappointed because I live in a small townhouse and the long-range Bluetooth transmitter this was replacing had no problem sending a solid signal to my Bluetooth ear buds anywhere in my place, whereas with this transmitter, if I moved to another room on the same floor or went up the stairs, it would cut in and out.Then, I took the transmitter out of its USB port on my docking station, plug it into a USB extension cable and move it 1 foot up to the next higher shelf in my cabinet, and voilà! Perfect reception throughout my townhouse. The additional wire in the extension cable probably gave it the additional boost it needed, as if it had a bigger antenna.Annoying I had to do that though. Hence 4-stars.

I am very happy with this purchase. I can now have my PC with Bluetooth connectivity playing on my speaker and my Yamaha receiver making all my playlists available via Bluetooth.

I purchased this unit with the understanding that it was plug and play, as is stated in the description. Low and behold, there is a small CD, supposedly with the required driver that needs to be installed. I am unable to plug and play as was needed for this product to be. It might work fine after the driver is installed, but I cannot use it on the computer that I needed to use it on (restricted from installing personal files), so I guess I'll use it on some other, non-work, personal computer, or give it away, or use it as a boat anchor or something.

Plug and play, no fuss and it works perfectly.
