Not fit all doors, I can’t use in my both apartment for any inside or outside door.

This item works well. We used it when we went away on holiday to keep the children out of our bedroom.The only problem with it is that if you tighten it up a lot it could damage the door frame. We got around this by putting a plastic card (like credit card) between the lock and the door frame.This worked well for us and we will use it again when we go away with the family

On our door the striker plate obstructs full usage, also on our other doors there is a door frame closing edge that prevents usage completely, check first
