This book was a favorite of mine years ago as a young reader, and it is so great to see my young son enjoying this book as much as I did way back then! Nice quality paperback at a reasonable price. Every kid should be able to enjoy this book!

Awesome book, loved it

Finally! After all these years! I have had the opportunity to read Irish Red! Mr Kjelgaard's ability to humanize the feelings of the canine characters continues to make the story very vivid and the reader feel part of the story. All of these books would be great, even decades later, for young readers as well as those of us who are older.

I read alot of stories by this author when I was younger; now I'm enjoying them again as an adult, thanks!

Not really what i expected & found it very basic although my grandson enjoyed it. Not really a serious adult read
