Bosch Ratchet Screwdriver with 12 Bits

I bought this screwdriver when it was on sale recently for circa £12, and I've found it more useful than I thought I would. It really shines for me as our 'household' goto screwdriver in the drawer with the batteries - because it's hard to pick it up and NOT end up with the right because because it has the 12 tucked away neatly in the handle (which is a wider selection than in my more pricey similar branded one I use in my office , and the T bits have come in handy already. Only a small amount of slop in the ratchet, which stays in place well, and I've no concerns with accidentally flipping the setting when tightening. The mechanism for the pop-out storage is neat enough too, and most excitingly - it doesn't rattle!

Where has this been all my life? Since purchasing, it has hardly left my hand. Ratchet action in both directions is smooth, and switching from one to the other is easy. Size is perfect, and having the extra heads stored inside the handle is brilliant. As expected from Bosch, this screwdriver looks like it will last a long time, feels comfortable in the hand, and is an essential piece of kit in my toolbox. Bought the stubby one too, so sky’s the limit.

The Bosch Home and Garden Ratchet Screwdriver has quickly become my go-to tool for all my screwdriving needs. It feels solid and strong, with minimal wobble in the shaft from the ratchet mechanism, particularly when compared with similar drivers. One of the standout features for me is the ratchet itself; it engages with surprisingly little backpressure, allowing it to kick in earlier than many other ratcheting drivers I’ve used. This makes it far more useful than most other ratcheting drivers I've used but doesn't feel like it affects the durability at all. I feel like it could withstand a lot of force without breaking. The pop-up bit magazine is another great feature. The bits pop out with a satisfying thunk and click back in securely, ensuring I don’t have to worry about them coming loose during use. Plus, the included bits seem to be of high quality, which adds to the overall value of the set. Overall, I highly recommend this ratchet screwdriver to anyone looking for a reliable and well-designed tool!

Very handy tool—no need to carry a full screwdriver set. The torque is smooth and doesn’t jam during use. I’ve been using it for a while with no issues so far. I would definitely recommend this product.

El mango del destornillador, tiene una textura poco agradable al tacto, es decir, pareciera ser sólo plástico, hecho en bloque al vapor. Por lo demás, un desarmador que cumple su función básica, acorde al precio que se paga por él.

Great tool. The screwdriver is compact, sturdy, and very easy to use. The ratchet mechanism seems well made and the grip is comfortable for extended use. A must-have for any DIY job.

davvero ben realizzato, robusto, affidabile, efficiente, funzionale, dal rapporto qualità prezzo adeguato al suo costo, si percepisce un alto livello qualitativo dei materiali e mi sembra probabilmente il migliore nel suo genere. Ottima la speciale dotazione di ben 12 bits perfettamente nascosti all'interno del robusto manico con estrazione rapida e semplice. Nel serbatoio estraibile sono contenuti 12 bit, 3 per ognuna delle 4 tipologie di punte disponibili ovvero con impronta: esagonale H, torx T, piatta o flathead T o SL e Pozidriv PZ (asterisco o croce rinforzata). Peccato soltanto che: 1)- sia nelle foto che nella descrizione la corretta tipologia delle punte disponibili non sia stata esplicitata in maniera chiara all'utente; 2)- avrei preferito trovare tre inserti a croce (PH) invece di quelli Torx di fatto meno utili per uso domestico e tenuto conto che pare sia sconsigliato usare una punta PZ (Pozidriv) su una semplice vite a croce che impone una punta PH (Phillips) ma capisco che queste sono scelte commerciali. Riservo comunque aggiornamenti sulla durabilità. Per adesso sono molto soddisfatto e consiglio l'acquisto per la complessiva grande comodità dell'utensile da testare nel tempo.
