Stanley 065492 FatMax Precision Screw Driver Set (6 Pieces), 0-65-492

Stanley FatMax products, and these screwdriver sets in particular were a great find. I am very discerning when it comes to tools and equipment and always spend as much as I can afford to get the best. I covet the luxury brand professional tools such as Snap-On, Facom, Bahco, etc. but I have to so that I was so impressed with the Stanley FatMax gear that bought two sets of these precision screwdrivers and splashed out on the set of larger screwdrivers plus two separate stubbies, one flat blade and one cross head. I highly recommend these screwdrivers. The set has everything you need for domestic electrical work, small joinery, hobby and craft projects and the quality of construction and feel in the hand is of a very high quality.

Good for the money and very useful

Easier to hold than jewellers kit

Good, tough, small screwdrivers. I disassembled some things (watch strap fixings) with very tight, very small screws. These had previously destroyed some cheap screwdriver and I thought the heads of the screws might be damaged as well as the cheapo screwdriver. The appropriate driver from the FatMax set released these tight screws with no fuss. Well worth paying for these is you need a set of small (but not jewellers) screwdrivers.

For the money I cannot fault these screwdrivers. Also they come in a great case …. What’s not to like ?

A tad pricey. Good quality in a poor lockable case. However, have used for various precision jobs and seems to do the job. Haven’t used for heavy duty so cannot attest to that type of use. But, for the odd taken, does the job nicely!

The price initially put me off but they’re just perfect. The handles make all the difference to the grip and I like they have their own carry case. Well worth the money.
