When I used the original boards, I would only notice a gnat or two after several days of operation. However, since switching to these, my Katchy has trapped hundreds of gnats and other bugs. It seems like these boards are stickier and more effective, providing better value for your money. The only minor issue is that there is a small tab that doesn't fit into the bottom tray where the glue board is supposed to go.
