Our company bought a bunch of promotional USB drives with our name on them, and then we wanted to attach those to some wrist straps we had, that already had grommets in them. These split rings were the perfect size for that, to fit both through the little hole in the USB drive and through the grommet on the strap.The wire is thick enough to be sturdy, but not so thick as to be really hard to slide the strap and the USB drive onto the ring. (We have some other split rings at our company, that we use in our manufacturing, that are so thick that you need a special tool to separate them enough to slide things around, and I didn't want to use those - both because they are hard to assemble, and also they are kind of ugly being so thick.) So I bought these, and then just sat in front of the television one evening and got all 100 put together.These would also work well to attach things to neck lanyards.

These rings work well for me, I use a larger size and they are strong yet easy enough to split and attach to eye pins with no struggle or pinched fingers.

As other reviewers have said, they're not really silver colored so much as steel colored, which is fine for making keychains. They also seems strong enough for that, though they're thinner than I expected (based on the silver colored ones I have). I also only seem to have only gotten 190 (unless I miscounted).

These rings are much easier to connect to small parts than the ones you have to crimp. They're the right size for what I needed and seem to be of good quality. Great for making keychains!
