Quite a large chunky lighter, which is good for outdoors. The flexible extendable neck works. The lanyard it comes with has an orange/black object on the end of it which is a whistle, a good idea. It does not hiss, the plasma arc is good and strong. A short charging cable is provided, USB C as described. Waterproofing OK for splashes and rain, but don't let it get immersed. Sturdy construction. As ever with a plasma lighter, when using to ignite tinder make sure not to contaminate the arc terminals.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. Having searched through many and read a lot of reviews, I picked this Lafagiel chargeable one, no fuel or gas just charge and go. Its not fancy or elegant, but a very nice looking lighter, and my hubby loves it. Also having the extendable part, makes for easy lighting of bonfires and bbq's. The battery life is excellent, between charges, lasts a good while before recharge. I ended up buy another one because my daughter loved it also.

Electronic lighters fit so well with modern life - now we all carry phones, laptops, and chargers every day, why bother with messy fuel? This lighter is a little chunkier in the hand than a BIC, but is very well designed and the lid seals both lighter end and charging point against rain; thanks to the rubber seal it's probably fully waterproof although I haven't tested this. The "flame" is consistent, easily enough for a big candle or starting a campfire from tinder. And the extending neck means you can reach in! It comes 80% charged and only took a few minutes to charge fully; I expect you'd get a couple of hundred lights from it between charges. Overall, a great piece of design, and great value too.

The flexible neck is incredibly useful, I mostly use this to light candles so it's perfect for reaching in to the candle holder. Have had no issues with the arc "flame", it's somewhat annoying to have to press the arc into what needs lighting but the long neck alleviates this. I love that it's USB C rechargeable so refilling fuel and worrying about leakage is never a concern. I only wish the battery capacity was higher but it's by no means bad perhaps I expect too much.

Bought for starting beach bbqs & has worked great all through the summer. Easy to use & full charge lasted a full week with 6 bbqs & 6 beach fires with power still left. Would recommend.

Very surprised by how long the battery life is. I don’t think I would need to charge it but couple times a year. LOL
