Braun MQ 9005X Hand Blender Includes 2-Part Accessory kit Schwarz, Edelstahl

Superb bit of kit, product is well engineered and does a great job of slicing and mixing of various things. Even good for making mash potato! Have had 2 months now and working well..

So far only used a couple of the attachments. Whisk worked well on eggs and cream with variable speed giving great control over end result. The attachment for mashing potatoes and vegetables worked well although took slightly longer than I was expecting. Standard attachment has worked well in creating smoothies and milkshakes. ( probably had a few too many in the time since I received it!).Overall first impressions are really good. Now planning other ways to experiment and make better use of the device.

I love how easy this machine is to clean and how versatile it is. I have made think soups and makes short work of blending it very fine.Large amount of onions in the large blender with no tears is great. I even used the greater in the large container for spinach for a savoury tart which would always take a while to cut by hand. Now I do a big bunch in a minute. Motor is strong and doesn’t strain at all. Whisking cream I find best going around the edges of the bowl and then it doesn’t just creat a vortex as when you work in the middle of the bowl. Very handy tool and still testing new ways to make my life in the kitchen quicker and easier. Recommend it to anyone who wants to save time.

Every thing very good apart from the hand blender; which is very robust but the metal head severely scratched the bottom of our non stick pan. Our previous blender had a plastic head and never scratched the pan. Can we get a plastic head for the Multiquick 9 ??? I do hope so.

Bought this to replace older model stick blender with mini blender. This has ended up replacing our full size food processor. It is that good. It’s powerful and the range of accessories mean it is capable of anything I’ve asked of it. Have found no negatives after a few months of almost daily use. Not had cause to use all the attachments yet.Top tip: The mini blender/chopper is perfect for preparing baby food!

Bought it two months ago and so far it has been one of the best purchases I have made for the kitchen lately. Extremely easy to use and versatile. Really pleased with my purchases. Made cheesecake the other day - biscuits crushed easily. Whipped up double cream with whisk - all preps done in less than 15 mins with minimum wash. Same for sliced veg - really easy to use.

The gear where all the attachments connect to stripped. Even though the rest of the device, motor, etc. is still fine, it makes it completely useless. I looked everywhere and phoned Braun service centre and it is near impossible to replace that one part. Given the strength of the motor, I think that gear should be made stronger and not from plastic.What's more is this happened just outside the 2-year warranty window. This is the 3rd Braun stick blender where something small broke and then you have to replace the whole thing. I won't be buying a Braun stick blender again.

Easy to use - this is a good powerful machine. The attachments are great too although the french fry chipper produces very short french fries. The masher is great and the stick blender gives very smooth results with no splashes. The packaging was damaged and it had clearly been opened as there was damage on the inside packaging too. However, everything inside appeared to be intact and is working so far.
