Fun, simple card game
This game is fun and simple to learn. Lots of chance and risk but for some reason my wife always beats me. lol

Bent box
I ordered 2 High-Lo Card Games. 1 box was fine but the other box was crushed on 1 corner which makes it really hard to open the box, so every time we play the game it will be hard to open.

Fun game!!!
It’s a lot like sky Jo. I like this one better the cards are easier to read both directions.

Perfect for the Elementary homeschooler.
THE RULES:Each player gets 12 cards laid out in a 3X4 grid face done (don't Look at your Cards!). After all the cards are dealt, each play flips up 2 of their choosing. Then each turn a play can draw a card from the deck or take the top card from the discard pile. If they choose the discard pile option, they replace one of their 12 cards with the card they picked up. If they replaced a face down card the face down card goes into the discard pile and the card they picked up replaces it and stays face up. If they picked the draw pile, they can choose to keep the card and do the same swap procedure as before, or discard the drawn card. If they discard the drawn card, they can flip one of their face down cards up. If at any time you get three cards in a row, those card get discarded and you only have to count your score for the remaining 9. This continues until someone has flipped up all 12 of their cards. Everyone gets one more go, then you add up all your cards, lowest person "wins" the round. Rounds are repeated till someone hits 99.It's a super simple game once you get the basics of the rules. About an even split between pure chance and skill. A good game for those snow days where the kids are home and you still want them to do something school like, but still fun or maybe for a homeschooler looking for a fun math game.

easy to learn & fun for kids
I ordered this game for my kids. The instructions are simple which is a plus. They quickly learned how to play and have fun every time. Not only do they have fun, but they are learning about numbers, including negative numbers. It comes in a compact box, but you can also put them in a small bag if prefer when travelling.

More fun then expected
I didnt originally have high expectations for this. The description gave a vague idea of gameplay and the layout. Overall we think its a blast. It says 8+ and my 8yr old had no problem picking up how to play. To be honest the 5yr old even understood the concept. You essentially trade cards you have for lower cards, if you can. The strategic part is choosing to switch with face down cards or cards that are already face up or not switching at all. You lay all 12 of your cards out in front of you, so you will need some space if playing with a large group. The cards range from -2 to 12. I really like that you get an actual box to store them in rather than the thin cardboard sleeves most cards come in.
