I like these very much because I wanted to keep special compoet in them and they are perfect.

I purchased these buckets to use for storing honey. They seem quite solid and of good quality. I have only given 4 stars as I have not yet used them. Also they came black not white as described.

Excellent product- exactly as described - good value for money and delivered quickly whats not to like.

These buckets are a fair price considering you get 5 for £16ish but they are not as pictured. I purchased these as they are pictured with a metal handle, and so looked similar to the ones I am used to using. The ones I received have a plastic handle and so will likely not last as long. They are also not as robust. I accept that discriptions are somewhat subjective, but to send an item that is clearly not that which is listed isn't really acceptable. No mention that the item may not be exactly as described in the litsting.

Just the job for its intended use.I normally store cement and pre-mixed mortar in washed-out paint containers (like the large Dulux white emulsion paint) that have snap-on lids and so are airtight (and moisture-proof), however my last paint container had developed a crack in it so I looked for a replacement and found these.They are just the job. They keep the powdered contents free from moisture and, as they are stackable, they save space in my garage too. My only misgiving is that when full of cement or mortar they are quite heavy and the plastic handles seem rather flimsy - but so far all has been fine. Since they should hold 10 litres of water - which weighs 10kg - they should be fine.The snap-on lids are great and the same sort of design as that used on the large paint containers. They have a tamper-proof seal which is easy to use - so good for food storage.A rather unusual use for theses containers you’ll probably think, and you’re right, but for me they do exactly the job I intended for them and I’m happy.Highly recommended if a little pricey.

DO NOT BUY! I wouldn't bother with these, they are very flimsy and the lids do not close properly, I have tried all the lids on the buckets, but none close spend you money elsewhere - it seems most things are compromised lately form Amazon, i will be cancelling Prime and going elsewhere!

I thought these buckets looked pretty robust on arrival and having now use them to harvest and store honey I've been impressed. I fill them to about 1 1/2" below the top. With the lids on I'm able to carry and move them with no problems. With the lid off I'm able to raise the bucket to head height and pour the honey into a strainerr.Theres an odd lookiking lid locking mechanism on the side of the bucket that you push in tto get to the edge of the lid to open it. The mechanism doesn't break when you do this which means you can be reusing the same buckets for a long time.I'll be reusing these bucket for a few years and I'm actually going to order some more of these to standardise on.in my extraction room.
