Love love love
With the state of public toilets in the county I ordered the potette. Really happy, sturdy, locks into place so my 4 yr old kid (19 kg plus) is able to sit on it with ease. We use regular garbage bags in it and there are never any spills and splashes. Love it

Great compact toilet seat for small tushies!
Excellent little toilet seat! Fits on every toilet we'd used so far - even the tiny ones on a plane! It does not have a pee guard but as long as the little legs are slightly apart, we never had problem with splashing. Very sturdy with a bit of non slip grip on the underside so it doesn't slide around when kiddo's on the toilet Also love that it converts to a travel potty. So handy for when we're outdoors and our almost 2 year old (who doesn't know how to squat and NOT pee on her shoes yet) has to answer nature's call. Just fold down the handles (make sure they click and lock in place as described in the instructions) and voila! Instant travel potty! It's pretty low to the ground so little ones will need help to sit down, but my kiddo took to it without any fuzz and just did her business. The seat comes with a few baggies with the absorbent pads like the ones at the bottom of the meat packets from the supermarket. Haven't tried them so can't attest to how well they work. The seat is fairly compact. We put it in one of those small cloth diapering wet bags, some toilet paper, wet wipes and extra pull ups in the front zipper pouch.... and we take the whole kit everywhere we go! Great product!

Just what I wanted
My daughter is 20 months old, and decided she wanted to use the big potty. I'm not one of those weird moms who puts their kid on the toilet every 20 minutes so they can be potty trained at 9 months old (for a mention in their latest YouTube video about how to teach your child French while practicing Mommy and Me Yoga). On the flip side, many of my friends said it was a waste of time to potty train before her second birthday. I ignored them because she showed definite signs of being ready. First, my daughter was always an obvious pooper. Panicked looks, squatting down, grabbing the edges of furniture, and saying "ooo-eee" - what I say when I change her diaper - had been her poop trademarks since she was very small. But the doctor said that it would be easier to potty train her when she can control her bladder better, and that wet accidents happen more often than pooping their pants. Makes sense. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago; I thought she had taken a liking to saying "baby" one morning as I was making breakfast, before I realized too late that she was actually saying "peepee," and had relieved herself of he pants, diaper, and urine, all over the carpet. I didn't want to deal with the headache of cleaning out a "baby potty," and transitioning to the big toilet, because I don't really understand the point, so I began looking for a portable seat that goes on top of a regular toilet. The options were pretty limited. I wanted a seat to use at home, but that was small enough to take to public places so she could use the bathroom without falling in the gigantic oval abyss that most public toilets have become. I narrowed it down to this one, and the cheaper, more compact but more dubious looking seat that folds into quarters. After reading reviews that the smaller seat occasionally falls in, I bit the bullet and bought the Potette Plus. It's wide, sturdy, and was stable even when my kid wiggled around trying to dance when she was excited about the amazing poo-poo in the potty song I wrote, sang and produced for her pooping pleasure. I can't say anything about its use as a stand alone potty yet, but may use it for camping trips. It's been a few days, and my daughter has only had 2 accidents, one because I was cooking and couldn't run her to the bathroom. I still keep her in pull-ups at night, but she has been having a great time getting to sit up high on the big potty. If you have a boy, the splash guard is pretty small, and you might get peed on.

Go potty anywhere!!!!!
This thing is amazing! An absolute must for potty training and life with toddlers. Very simple and easy to use. Iโve used this thing in so many different places, it stays on the big potty at home and we take it with us anytime we leave the house. Such a relief knowing my little one can basically go potty literally anywhere with this thing!!! My favorite is when sheโs all strapped in after leaving the store when you hear โI have to go potty!!โ Ok, we can just pull over right there and you can do your business! In a public restroom, I feel more comfortable having my little one sit on this on top of the toilet and I can sit on it too! It lays flat to sit on the toilet perfectly and folds up easily to store, you just have to pop it out of its holding position which is easy. Feels very secure when you use the legs to make a seat to put it on the ground. Comes with a nice plastic carrying bag.

Absolutely amazing for toddler potty training and on the go
This has been absolutely amazing for my daughter. We purchased this when she turned two and have used it for a year now. I have came back on to write a review and purchased Additional liners as we are getting ready to go on a long road trip. The liners are amazing because they fit right over the little seat making it easy to pull over and let her potty even when in the middle of nowhere. The seat itself fits her perfectly. She is a normal size 3-year-old and it worked just fine for her at two. No seat pinching or wobbling on a larger toilet. The bag that it comes and makes it perfect for in the diaper bag or just to grab and go and have concealed. It is perfect for helping your little ones learn to go someplace other than home especially on those scary gas station toilets. I would buy again if needed but again after one year ours is held up just fine along with the bag and has had a ton of use. Thank you for such a wonderful seat for my daughter
