SEIKOQuartz Pink Dial Men's Watch SUR523

I’ve been curious about these Seiko Essentials watches for a while now but never made the leap to purchase one until recently. Previously I’ve been wearing higher-end watches including Tudor BB 58, Omega Seamaster 300m, Omega Railmaster, etc. Although those watches are nice I kept getting hung up on just how heavy and ultimately uncomfortable they are to wear on a daily basis. For the amount of money they cost, I was also easily irritated by things like the slightest bezel misalignment, a bracelet that I couldn’t size to my precise preference, a watch that ran slightly slow rather than slightly fast.Feeling frustrated by the fact that these luxury watches were not meeting my luxury level expectations, I recently got a hankering for a pink dial watch, found this inexpensive one from Seiko, and bought it on a whim.Is this a fancy, high-end watch? No. The bracelet is noticeably chintzy, with folded end-links and a basic stamped clasp. But it has a simple, elegant dial in a hard-to-find color, a virtually scratch-proof sapphire crystal (rare in this price range), and, most importantly, it is incredibly thin and so lightweight that I can forget I’m even wearing it. For the amount of money I paid, I have no complaints about the chintzy bracelet (which is perfectly comfortable to wear) or the quartz movement (which is more accurate and easier for me to “service” with a simple battery replacement every few years compared to a mechanical watch).My only true complaint is that there is almost no contrast between the silver hands and the silvery-pink dial, which makes the watch hard to read at certain angles and in low light. But I could have bought one of the darker dial versions with higher contrast if legibility were my sole concern. I wanted the pink dial so I’ll live with this drawback.

It’s 40mm. A bit large for me. But it’s a really beautiful subtle dial. Its very nice for a lower price watch. I like quartz.

Watch arrived with full stickers but unfortunately does not include any papers. No warranty card or manuals are included.

Everyday use!

Un reloj con un color particular, es muy llamativo. El cuerpo y la correa es de acero inoxidable, el cuerpo del correo se siente pesado, pero al usarlo es súper cómodo y el tamaño es el ideal

Ich habe mir die Uhr wegen der Farbe des rosefarbenen/lachsfarbenen Zifferblatts gekauft und meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Sehr schöner harmonischer Farbton, edle Verarbeitung. Ach der Rest der Uhr ist sehr gut verarbeitet, die Zeiger sind auch sehr schön gestaltet und besitzen ausreichend Leuchtmasse. Das Armband ist dem Preis angemessen und solide. Mit Sapphirglas und 100m Wasserdichte für alle Lebenslagen gerüstet. Der sSommer kann kommen, ich werde sie bestimmt oft am Handgelenk haben. Alles in allem ein sehr schöne Uhr mit bekannter Seiko Qualität.

Rare salmon colour dial.another beauty from seiko!

I have a wrist size of 7" and it looks good. This is probably as big as I would go for my wrist size. I've uploaded some photos of wearing it with different straps.It's a thin watch, about 8.5mm and it's full length (lug to lug) is 46mm. It uses 20mm straps.It's early days but I recommend it. It looks beautiful and the pink is so subtle, it's more salmon in colour. Hope this helps anyone deciding whether to buy.

L'orologio è fatto molto bene, ottime le proporzioni ed il quadrante è davvero particolare. Ho restituito l'orologio perchè il bracciale è arrivato già regolato (la confezione dello spernatore era aperta) e soprattutto non c'erano i link tolti...
