Hello, Brit! I was just going to ask about this. Mine got them, but only after I left the kettle on too long, all of the water evaporated, and I thus had the empty tea kettle on my "on" stove top. I am wondering if I have ruined the non-toxic quality of the enamel. I'll ask the group!
