I bought this blue glass bottle specifically to crystallize water and make solarized water, and I am very satisfied with the quality. Bought this, and after receiving it and using it for about 2 weeks? I will be buying another 4-5 for stocking stuffers for friends and family this Christmas. That should tell you how much I enjoyed this purchase. The glass is absolutely thick, heavy Italian made quality. I gave it five stars, I have no complaints. I do however wish the top stopper was made from porcelain as opposed to plastic, like these were made years ago. But, that is such a minor detail that is easily overlooked as this is such a high quality product in my opinion. How come when things look better? They just taste better. Anything you put in this bottle / container / piece of art? It just tastes better. Living in California in drought conditions? Dust, pollen and small particulate matter is constantly hovering and floating in the air and everywhere. I have been using this for mostly water and other beverages, as it gets annoying constantly getting little floating particles in whatever I'm drinking. I can fill this up with water, refrigerate it, and it easily gives me enough hydration throughout the day. And obviously I'm avoiding the millions of particles that are waiting to jump into my drink and eventually into my stomach. I'm already breathing the horrible California air, I'm trying to avoid drinking it as well. I can think up way too many applications for this bottle as it is art as well as function.

This is beautiful, sturdy and bigger than I imagined. I use it to bless my water in the sun every day and it feels nice to poor that water from a beautiful blue bottle

These are fake blue glass - they’ve been painted blue (see my photo). Do not buy them. So disappointed
