Loved The Concert. It brought back so many great memories. It surpassed all of my expectations.

If you love funk, buy this DVD right now. Nile Rogers' and Omar Hakim's performances alone make this a no brainer purchase. Add a great set list, top production quality and stellar vocals and horn section and this DVD is one of the best. The set list includes all of Chic's top hits, plus Rogers' hits with Diana Ross and Sister Sledge-all stellar performances. The bass player, a big fan of Bernard Edwards, is humble and very capable filling the big shoes of his idol. Every musician on the stage is an all star! I was impressed from beginning to end and I'm not easy to please. I put it on and my whole family including my son(6) and daughter(8) were dancing around the family room. Great job by Nile putting this whole prodcution together. A must have for those who love funk!

being a guitar freak / player i have always love the funkiest rhythm of "le freak" and "Good Times" and i've have heard the Nile Rodgers name of course but to be honest i bought this dvd not having an idea how much i would ended up loving it. Nile is one hell of a player, his sound, oh my god, his sound is the fullest, coolest, freakest, badest sound a rhythm player can get from an stratocaster, the band (specially Omar Hakim) delivest with the sharpest precisión without losing the beat but without sounding mechanic, the singers, oh mama! great voices (and the younger sista what a beautiful sexy body), the audience, conected, the dvd quality great... and please consider that this comes from a hard metal / thrash / blues / progressive lover and guitar player. please buy this one and enjoy for yourself. you wont regret it.

it's all here in what was undoutedbly a mind-blowing evening. Sylver Logan Sharp EXUDES sex appeal and class simultaneously in the true spirit of Chic like no one else can. What a voice and presence!! What the HELL was Jessica Walker on this night? Those bug eyes, jumping up and down and pointing at random people in the crowd while looking spaed out. Still, she can sing and is pretty hot but LEARN SOME LESSONS from Ms. Sylver about performance. YOWSAH!!!!!

Very nice performance. Chic one of my favorite groups from 70-80’s era. I would recommend.

I first saw this concert on DISH TV's VOOM (High Definition) channels in 2005! The video quality was gorgeous on that channel! Not so much on the dvd. The concert itself and the DTS sound both make this dvd worth purchasing, but the video is almost a wash. Very muted. Eagle Rock Entertainment should remaster this for Blu-ray or 4k to really get the eye popping Pictures quality in this day and age. Then it will be a five star review!!

Chic sind/ waren schon immer geniale Jazz-/ Funkmusiker. In den 70er Jahren wurden sie von einigen Kritikern nur als "Disco-Band" bezeichnet, was meiner Meinung nach immer eine Fehleinschätzung war. Das kongeniale Duo Nile Rodgers und Bernard Edwards haben mit ihren Bass- und Gitarrenriffs Musikgeschichte geschrieben. Montreux ist der würdige Rahmen für diese Band.
