My dog has allergies and can’t chew on anything flavored. These chew sticks were recommended by the dermatologist while we figure out what food allergies she might have. She loves them! She’s been chewing on them for 3 months and has just now started to bite off tiny pieces. I just replaced them with new ones. I’m going to try and file down the edges to see if she continues to chew without biting pieces off. I will continue to buy these because they are cheaper than store bought ones and my dog loves them.

they can chew thru them in no time for the most part. I've had to start looking for 'softer' type chews for my 3 pooches, since the vet told me if you can't press your fingernail into it - it's too hard. With 3 aggressive chewers - not as easy a feat as you would expect, BUT my medium sized girl actually broke a molar on a different VERY HARD BONE - that turned I to a NASTY ABSCESS requiring immediate SURGERY!Then I found these, that almost seem middle of the road in the 'hardness level', as anything softer lasts about a half hour (& waste of money), but these at least last days if not a couple of weeks.Overall, they last a little longer than any softer alternative (obviously) & are worthy of buying a few at a time.

My dog destroys everything and cannot destroy this! She loves to chew on sticks and this is a great alternative. Shape allows her to “hold” it with her paws and chew.

Our 11 month old loves these wooden bones. This one is a nice shape and seems easy for her to hold. We do only let her have this one under supervision because she can get larger chunks off sometimes but otherwise these bones are always winners.

My lab took to this treat immediately. He could hold it in his paws and chew it. Once there was only about one half of it left, he pretty much ignored it.
