Ideal bag
I get a lot of compliments on this bag. It’s ideal for what I want it for, filling it up with shopping or going for walks with sandwiches and drinks.

Good quality bag with real leather buckle straps
Was looking for a vintage look bag without those magnetic poppers on the pocket straps. This one is a traditional leather strap that you have to buckle up. Feels good quality and I have confidence that it will last. Will probably put some leather conditioner or dubbing on the leather straps. The canvas bag itself is very good and going by another I have from this brand, ( that has the magnetic poppers on the pocket straps) this bag will go the distance.

Not waterproof whatsoever
"This backpack is made of High density oil wax canvas and First layer of cowhide" it is not waterproof at all, it not made of oil wax canvas and no cowhide.

Good quality and performs well so far!
It can get a bit sweaty on your back as there are no air spaces but it NOT a hiking nor camping pack. It’s just a day jaunt haversack for dropping a bit of shopping into and getting g about town for a few hours.I like the old school ‘Allen Yeager’ style and the colours are nice choices.
