The media could not be loaded.  The length of this thing makes all the difference. It reaches heights that I would normally have to get on a ladder for, and that could save my life.Other than that, it functions as well as the others. Everything else is about the same. It’s the nine foot length that really sets it apart.It is a bit heavy and awkward to use, but that’s the nature of a tool this size. It came with a harness to help support it but I haven’t gotten that to work well for me yet. It also came with a very nice, lightweight, telescoping pole saw and a pair of hand pruners. I’m reluctant to mention those because they are not mentioned in the listing so they may not be included with the one you receive.

Once I figured out how to use this set I was able to trim my very tall, way over my head, hedge/bush and holly tree in a matter of a few minutes. Note - I am an “older woman” and had no trouble with this cutter. The hedge trimmer cutting blade is about 19 inches long . It makes a wide cut and the tree was very evenly cut around in a few minutes. In less than 15 minutes I had a 32 gal trash can full of hedge trimmings from the bush. The pole is a little heavy with the battery but balances well in your hands. The other implement is an extending pole with an attached pruning saw. I did not need to use this but if you had a thicker limb to cut it should work fine. There is also included a pairs of handheld clippers. They are not the ratcheting kind but they worked well on some long vines. Directions are included with this product but they are mostly about safety information. I was not able to find any videos on how to use this set, but proceeded on my own with caution and it was easy to use. You can save a lot of money with this. You can do the tall, over your head trimming yourself.

I ordered this to trim back some 8-9 foot tall laurels that were damaged in the deep freeze that hit our region last winter - I was told by a local horticulturist that would help them recover.This trimmer works great for getting to the tops of tall bushes, and the option to operate it at a 90 degree angle lets me get a nice uniform look across the tops. However, the drawback is that this trimmer is heavy so holding it steady for long stretches is difficult when fully extended.It came with a stability strap (with no instructions on how to use it) but I think I finally got it right. Unfortunately the clip that attaches to the trimmer is connected with the neck strap … so the weight of trimmer pulls to one side which is really uncomfortable and cumbersome. I found it easier to control the trimmer without the strap.The package includes hand pruners and a retractable pole pruner which are nice add ons for those that don’t already own those tools. If all 3 items are needed then the price is a good value (about $130 at the time of this review. The one additional concern I have - as with all foreign made products with proprietary batteries- is the ability to eventually get a replacement battery when this one fails (as all batteries do over time).

The media could not be loaded.  This GARCARE Cordless Pole Hedge Trimmer works like a charm. It was easy to put together, but it did help looking at some of the pictures on the Amazon site first. I slid the lithium ion battery into the charger first, and then started to put the trimmer together. When i slid the battery into the charger, the light on the charger was red, signifying that the battery needed charging. After about a half hour, the green light came on and the battery was charged.I have an out of control mulberry bush thing near my back patio that I tried it out on. It worked better than I had hoped. The thin branches were cut through like they weren't even there. Some that were a bit thicker took a couple seconds to cut. I was impressed by how easy the trimmer is to use, and how well it works.There is a shoulder strap included which will make it more comfortable during extended use. The cutting blade section is telescopic and will reach out to 9 feet at it's full extension. That section also is able to be shifted so that the blade forms a 45 degree angle to the rest of the trimmer. Makes trimming the tops of a tall hedge as simple as can be.This trimmer will get plenty of use in the coming spring and summer.

First, a bit of a surprise. I wasn't expecting the package to include a pruner and a limb cutter in the package. Not sure how I missed that in the ad, I'll have to go back and see if they were mentioned.I'm not going to really be trimming many bushes with it as most of my need is cutting back brush and that's probably a good thing. The ad says it's light but I, in my mid 70s, found it a bit cumbersome.I'd think if you were older and I'm not in bad shape or a woman, it might be a little much. They do include a strap but I didn''t use it. High hedges may also be an issue.

Works wonderful. Easy to put together. Lightweight. The battery last a really long time. Was so easy to reach the tall branches on my tree. Powerful and cuts really well. Love that it's adjustable to different angles allowing me to even trim my grass with it. GREAT!

Im extremely happy with this product- not only do you get the super long rechargeable cordless hedge clipper, you also get garden pruning snips, a whole other long hedge trimmer, 2 chargers, a screwdriver, and a bag to hold the extra blades and stuff.Its definitely as advertised, plus its way better than expected! It works absolutely perfectly- you charge it overnight, then the next day it works cordless for hours.I would definitely recommend this product to others, its a great product

This trimmer works great it is easy to use. It is a bit on the heavier side but that's not a problem because in my opinion it just means it is more durable and is going to last much longer than the other cheaper trimmers that I've tried it past. I like the accessories that came with this unit and found them easy to use. I am happy with my experience with this product. The batteries last a reasonable amount of time and I have not had any issues hitting the job done.

Works fine, cuts better than my old handheld Black&Decker NimH device, easier to wield, can cut higher and wider hedges.Big battery, came pre-charged.Also comes with a shoulder strap.

El motor no tiene la potencia necesaria para mover las cuchillas lo suficientemente rápido para cortar plantas muy delgadas. Quise devolver pero el costo del correo/envío a Las Vegas desde Mexico me salía muy caro! No lo compren. Muy arrepentido de haber creido la descripción del comercial

Bought this hedge trimmer because it has a long life battery. Used it for the first time today and I found it very easy to assemble and use. The battery has lasted for well over an hour of hedge trimming. So so far I am well pleased with it.

well pleased with trimmer, cuts a treat and also found added extras useful.

With the holder this is a practical effective pole hedge cutter.
