I dont know - it does have a strong smell but Its ok for my dogs eyes. It doesnt sting her eyes or cause her any problems

How do I stop this from coming out once I've pierced the top??

Hey! So I’m not sure you’re supposed to ‘pierce’ the top. You simply turn the nozel to open and close it so it doesn’t spill :)
