One of the best buys this year. We manage to keep cool the entire floor with the windows closed. We bought separately a windows attachment to keep the hot air from coming in.Easy to control from the app.Can be a bit noisy during the night but you get use after a while.So worthy. Do not hesitate!

Purchased for hot summer nights, reasonable size, good value, put on 20 mins prior to bed and room is super cool, due to the noise level i find it necessary to turn off to sleep

These units are poorly made and suffer from multiple issues such as the compressor failing and the refrigerant leaking.The seller knows this and it seems the products are designed to last only until the warranty period expires.This unit was bought and used 2-3 times last summer and worked as intended. It was then stored safely in an office and not moved.Low and behold when taking it out for use again or does not work. If you open up the unit you can see how poorly made they are and how the refrigerant has leaked.This seller will not accept your return. Will not provide a refund and will not give you a replacement.You have been warned.Do not buy this.

Summary of 7000 BTU model: Tangzon is really Costway. Works OK so far. Acceptable noise and weight. Inflexible hot-air exhaust tube. Troublesome water drainage. Useless as a dehumidifier.This item is really a Costway model FP10117GB-WH. Tangzon just resell as if their own brand. It still has a Costway badge and energy sticker. The seller says "Our shop and brand name is Tangzon. Costway is our supplier name." I could have saved £27.95 by buying the same unit under the Costway name (both with Prime discount). On the positive side, Tangzon offered to collect the unit for a full refund or (after haggling) £20 back if I kept it. I decided to keep it, and the £20 was promptly refunded.I have tested the AC while the weather is still quite cool. It needs hot weather for a proper test, but so far seems to work fine as advertised. I haven't tested the sleep mode.I was concerned about how noisy it was. Most of the noise seems to come from the fan (only a bit louder when you turn on the cooling), and doesn't seem too bad. The unit is rated at 65dB, though you can reduce it a bit by turning down the fan. I originally purchased this one because the Amazon description claimed a quieter noise level, but this was a typo that has been corrected after I pointed it out (now correctly says "Noise Level: ≤ 65dB"). The other number (54dB) is, they say, the "average noise level of different mode". All the other models in this class have a full noise level of 65 dB.The hot-air exhaust fits my sash windows well enough, but will need a separate adapter for other window types. The hot-air exhaust tube seems rather fragile when expanding, but worked for me so far. It looks flexible, but really isn't. It doesn't bend round/over/beside my sofa, and it's not easy (or possible?) to move the AC unit much closer or further from the window than the tube allows.The unit is quite heavy, but can (just about) be lifted to go up stairs. It has wheels.The unit has a water tank that should collect water and evaporate it as part of the cooling function. For my hour long cooling test, it didn't collect much water. But if it does collect water, then it's not easy to remove. The drainage system is terrible: just a rubber stopper which you have to quickly replace with a short tube (supplied) before too much dribbles down the side. Unless you have a sink right next to it, you have to drain into a pot and hope the pot doesn't overflow. For this reason, I will not ever be using this as a dehumidifier (which anyway can't be run at the same time as the cooling). Even so, you have to empty the water tank before storage.

So I purchased the fancy shamncy WiFi version, which in turn is perfect. As only one person can control from the app I believe? Unless I'm just rubbish on the app, so my partner uses that and I use the remote that comes with it (need your own 2x AAAs)Cools the room in seconds, we planned on taking it upstairs for the night time but damn she heavy. We did it for the first night then never again. Different options. Cool/dry/fan you can select high/low fan and change temp and set timer. You won't regret this purchase

Ok so it kinda does the job. Because you have to keep a window open for the ‘pipe’ the room doesn’t go below 24c no matter how long you run it. But when it’s hot hot..well it’s still better than roasting.Other things, the ‘pipe’ to the open window is only long enough to reach a window if you are directly under it. Any furniture etc will have to move.It’s really quite noisy, thing very loud fan plus a fridge clicking on and off vibrating the floor (and mine has carpet too). Too loud I would say for overnight use. And of course, open window for that pipe means all those dogs barking, birds tweeting, cars etc going past well they are all now much louder too on top.The water collection tray fills quite fast, and the drain is right down there at the very bottom. Pull the plug out and it will pour water all over.Final thing, it’s not what I would call light. So portable? Yeh if you mean wheel it on a flat in carpeted floor. Anything else and you are gonna have to lift it.I am sure the seller might give some answers to these remarks but at the end of the day this is an honest review of the product. Like I say it makes the room cold’er’ and that might be all you care about.

Bought this product with it saying night mode and I thought it would be quiet albe it maybe a little less powerful however I was wrong all night mode did was dim a light on the top.It’s so loud it’s impossible to sleep with it running.
