A lot stronger than you think.
I was surprised how strong this is as it feels flimsy, but once upon it's perfect.

Curtain rod does the job
Curtain rod effective. Hold curtain up well. Used in wall surface and holding well so far.

Doesn't tighten
I had to wait for a 2nd person to help me install which means I missed the return period. I attempted to install yesterday and the bar will not tighten. I have followed the instructions completely but it isn't working as it should which means i have a what is basically an overpriced pole that I can't return.

Not wanting to drill holes after reinventing my bathroom, this curtain pole was ideal, very happy.

It's a two person job!
It's a two person job! And you need a perfectly square window surround. I don't... and didn't realise til I tried to put one up.

OK looking but very flimsy.
Bit flimsy and very small mounting brackets. Looks ok but will not hold more than a flimsy curtain.

As a renter, these curtain rods are so ideal. No drilling, no holes, no worries. The footings of the rods are small enough to fit into a smallest of widow frames only needing about an inch clearance. Super easy to install as well. I bought two of these!

Bought these for my new apartment and it fits perfectly. I bought the black one. The quality is good, it’s solid metal, very easy to install as well. Most importantly it saves me the headache of A not having a curtain rod to hang curtains by the window, and B not having to drill a hole to loose my deposit for this apartment.

The S bracket that hold the compress rod is plastic.

I was looking to hang curtains in my apartment but didn't want to drill holes to cause damage, so I thought I would give these a try. I had low expectations, but was delighted how well they worked and how easy they were to install. They have worked great so far with black out curtains, very sturdy. I bought a few more for my other windows.
