The fasteners seem strong enough, but I did break three of them on the middle front fastener location on both sides. There must be something behind the mount that causes this because it happened in the same hole on both sides. Luckily, I had some extras. I suspect if you don't have extras and you need more, the sellers would send you some or buy them on desertcart. They are inexpensive. Just make sure you get the right size. These flaps are an excellent buy. Slightly larger than OEM and more functional as a splash guard, they look great on the EV6, Finally, the price is really fantastic. The OEM KIA mudguards are 4-5 times the price of these, and not as good in my opinion.
