I wanted a case for my saw. It is a Stihl model MS280. I was tired of the oily mess getting on everything it touched while transporting it after use - and it also deserves protection while being stored or carried to work sites.Initally I was thinking about buying a hard case for maximum protection and minimizing oil and chaff transfers. I then noticed the soft cases, which I viewed with skepticism - UNTIL I saw this one.This case (IMO) is the best you can get. The material used is rugged enough to provide excellent protection of the saw, as well as protecting other objects outside the case - that would otherwise contact the chain (if it were not in the case).The handles and strap are strategically attached to assure comfort while carrying the case and longevity of its service. Personally, I removed the long shoulder strap and only use the handles - but that is user preference.The hard plastic removable tray that sits in the bottom is genius - forming a solid base that holds the saw steady - while forbiding any oil etc to soak through ino the material, should their be leakage.The inside case wall has two spacious pockets. Outside on the rear is one zippered pocket, while a full length zippered side pocket on the right has a partitioned off seperate zipper compartment inside of it - to double protect tools etc you store in it - plus it also encloses a spacious pocket.The top section of the exterior has a full zippered perimeter - that extends on the right side to encompass one full side of the bar. A scabbard on your bar is recommended to lengthen the life of the enclosure for obvious reasons.The top zippered “hatch” also has a sort of skinny “bungee cord” zigzagging back and forth to fasteners - that also may be adjusted in length to better form-fit the saw and other contents.My saw has a 16” bar with scabbard - and the saw fits this case like it was OEM matched.This is a great case and I would bet that mfgrs will start offering knock-offs designed like it - after they are aware of it. It’s the best chainsaw case design that I have seen to date.

Love the ergonomics and so many pockets would recommend

It is big as the range is 14-18 inch bar. That said, if it’s 14”, you’ll have a little more room. I just keep the wrench and bar chain oil all in the bag for my 16” saw. Just remember to empty the oil from the saw before storing as it WILL leak and get all in the bag. Since it’s canvas, it will also leak through and now it’s on your bench/shelf! Nice bag to keep the saw and accessories!Great value!

I got this for my new ego 16” battery chainsaw. Fits perfectly, ( plenty of extra room) it has a removable drip plan in the bottom to catch oil a piece of removable padding to put however wherever you choose. Plenty of room for batteries and charger, tools, gloves and chain oil. Handles and shoulder strap, make this a great Carry and storage bag everything in one place. Less expensive than the name brand one and essentially the same features. Zippers are 2way and extend from main body of bag to blade end, for simple packing and removal.

This is perfect for my Ego 16” saw with plenty of storage for my chain oil and extra chains and tools. Easy to pack and carry

The product is fine, but wish I had purchased a hard case. It isn't easy to store because it is a soft case, so it is almost like just storing your chainsaw without a case. The product is as advertised, just be sure a soft case meets your need before purchasing.

Fits my Dewalt saw perfectly.

Very well made, lots of compartments, and tray to set under chainsaw to catch oil drips well thought of.
