I read one of the reviews and it said the netting in front touched the which was stung. The first time I wore it, I got stung on the nose. Then when I reacted away from the sting, my head hit the back of the netting and I got stung 3-4 times on the back of the head. When I reacted after that, the bees went crazy and I was strung on both arms through my gloves and the suit, one arm at least three times, and once on my side. With bees that crazy and defensive, maybe the arms and the side are understandable and were not hard stings. But do not buy until the company says it has expanded the netting around the head. I don't see how the suit will prevent stingers from penetration. I have been using heavy duty twill suits. Although they are very hot in 85 degree + weather, I have never had a stinger penetrate the suit. Some reviews said they have used the suit and have never been stung. I am not sure how that could happen. If it is true, great. But, we remove hornet & yellow jacket hives, set bee hives back on stands that have turned over at apiaries, and treat carpenter bees. I'm not stepping up to the plate to try it.
